Todd Terry

"Not everyone understands House Music"
 Except for maybe this guy...

Born in Brooklyn, New York, pioneering American House producer & DJ, TODD TERRY is one of the producers who helped to define New York's House Music during the 1980s... Todd Terry has been responsible for releasing two of the most respected crossover remixes of the House era: "I'll House You" by the Jungle Brothers and "Missing" by Everything But The Girl by the mid 1990s. Among his fans, Todd Terry is known as 'Todd the God', 'God Terry', 'Todd Godrry', 'Godd Gerry' (or, occasionally, simply 'God'.   [discogs] http://www.discogs.com/artist/Todd+Terry

In the beginning, there was Jack...
But somewhere up in there was also Todd Terry. He was and continues to be the epitome of House Music. He embodies the spirit of this musical genre and is one of the most influential and respected House Music producers of all time!

Check out his latest mix courtesy of Saturday Night Sessions on Mixcloud.

DJ Jesse Perez

What can I say about this (nice) guy? This Miami native does it his way! Jesse has a very unique style when it comes to his Miami BASS/Hip Hop infused house tracks.

There wouldn't be enough space on this blog entry to explain... You'll have to hear it for yourselves!

I started my morning listening to his mix & have actually had that 'ish' on repeat the whole day:)

Check it out and oh, if you're from Miami, you'll definitely be feelin' this one!

Thanks to DJMAG for posting!

Entry One

March 11th 2012 - 1:45AM

As I write this new blog entry (my first one ever)
I'm listening to the sounds of the legendary
Pete Tong & his Essential Mix.

http://www.mixcloud.com/HouseRLS/pete-tong-the-essential-selection-bbc-radio-1-03-09-2012/

This blog will serve as a journal of my discoveries in
the world of Electronic Dance Music.  Along the way,
I hope to connect with people that share my same interest
in this music genre.

Please feel free to leave your feedback, comments & suggestions ;)
